Day 1

Amman Airport – Amman

Upon arrival at the Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Amman.

Day 2

Amman – Jerash – Amman City Tour

After breakfast, We will drive 50kms northward to Jerash, the best example of a well preserved Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East comprising paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, handsome theatres, and spacious public squares and plazas. We leave Jerash and drive back to Amman, to visit Citadel here you can see the ruins from Roman through early Islamic. The Citadel was occupied as early as the Neolithic period and during 1800 BC. The name Amman comes from the “Rabbath Ammon” or Great City of the Ammonites who settled in the region sometime after 1200 BC. We continue to Roman Theatre, it was built during the reign of Antonius Pius and could seat about 6,000 people; it was divided into 3 horizontal sections. Side entrances existed at ground level, one leading to the orchestra and the other to the stage. We will stroll in Jabal Amman and Abdoun area to get an idea of the modern life in Amman. Transfer back to Amman hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 3

Amman – Petra visit

After breakfast, we will head south to visit Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Start your visit by a walk or a short horse ride (included in the ticket, horse handler expects a tip) from main entrance up to the Siq, a 350 meters confined canyon. As you reach the end of Siq you will see the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. Overnight in Petra

Day 4

Petra – Little Petra – Wadi Rum – Amman

In the morning, continue on to Little Petra, which is believed to be a resting place for the ancient caravans traveling along the spice route.  Enter the site through a narrow gorge called Siq al-Baird to view the tombs, temples, and dining halls. Explore the mysterious stairways leading up through the cliffs, one that leads to a dining area adorned with a colorful Nabataean painting. What is “vast, echoing and God-like”? The answer lays in Wadi Rum where one will experience the solitude and magic of the desert landscape.  On one of the best rides of your life – a 2-hour sunset 4X4 safari – view the towering castle-like mountains and beautifully colored cliffs that can be seen in every direction, Visit such sites as Lawrence Spring, the Famous Ghazali Gorge with its ancient Rock inscriptions, the Small Arch and the Great Sand Dunes.  After the excursion, we will head back to Amman hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 5

Amman  – Amman Airport

At the appointed time, you will head towards Amman Airport for your departure flight.
