Day 1

Cairo International Airport – Cairo

Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport (Arrival procedures) and then he will escort you to the hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2

Egypt Pyramids Tour

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then met by your personal guide who will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus – Famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue. Additional visit to the Solar Boat infront of Cheops Pyramid (extra ticket on spot) Lunch included during the tour and then proceed to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and first pyramid ever built (Djoser Pyramid). Move to Memphis; Old kingdom’s capital and famous Necropolis. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3

Cairo Sightseeing Tours

Breakfast at the hotel and then you will be escorted by your private guide to visit: Egyptian Museum, Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen, alongside many other fascinating artifacts. Additional visit to the mummies room at the museum (extra ticket on spot) Lunch through out the tour at local restaurant, then moving to visit Saladin Citadel including Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. Back to hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 4

Cairo –  Cairo International Airport – Queen Alia Airport – Amman 

At the appointed time, you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Amman  where you will be met and assisted then transferred to your hotel in Amman for overnight.

Day 5

Amman – Desert Castles – Amman Tour

This morning we will  head to the eastern Jordanian desert to see three examples of the Desert Castles, built by the Umayyad caliphs in the 7th and 8th century. Qasr Kharanah is featured by high walls and four corner towers. Qasr Amra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its unique fresco paintings representing an early stage of Islamic art. Last visit will be to Qasr Azraq, used already by the Romans, but most popular occupant had been T. E Lawrence of Arabia, who had here his headquarter during the Arab Revolt. After visiting Desert Castles, we will  head back to the Capital of Jordan, Amman and start our half-day City Tour in Amman. Start your Amman City sightseeing with a visit to the King Abdulla Mosque which was completed in 1989 as a memorial by the late King Hussein to his grandfather. Then pay a visit to the Amman Citadel, Roman Amphitheater. After the city tour of Amman, we will head back to hotel for overnight.

Day 6

Amman – Umm Qais – Ajloun – Jerash – Amman

Today we will drive two hours from Amman to Gadara (Umm Qais), which belonged to the famous Decapolis, a union of 10 cities, founded by Alexander the Great. Here you have an overwhelming view over the north Jordan Valley, the Golan Heights and the Sea of Galilee and stroll through the Greco-Roman remains. After the visit of Um Qais, we will head towards Jerash, the well preserved city of the Roman Empire, often called Pompeii of the East. Visit Hadrian’s Arch, built in 130 AD to honor the visit of Emperor Hadrian. Pass the Hippodrome offering space for 15,000 spectators, the impressing Forum, continue to the Temple of Artemis, which columns are 12 meters high and each drum weights 20-40 tons. Other highlights are the Colonnaded Street and the Nymphaeum. After Jerash, we will head out to visit Ajloun the great 12th century Islamic castle built around 1184/85 by the famous Islamic leader Salah al-Din. After visiting the Ajloun Castle, we will head back to Amman hotel for overnight.

Day 7

Amman – Madaba – Nebo – Kerak – Petra

Today we will drive towards the town Madaba, where you find the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George’s church. After that continue to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the promised land before he died and alleged to be his burial place. You will visit an old monastery; overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land.  Then we will proceed towards Kerak. This crusader castle that was built in 1132 is situated on top of a high mountain overlooking the city. You can wander through underground corridors with huge kitchens, stables and sleeping quarters with several floors. The top of the castle offers magnificent views in all directions. After visiting Kerak, we depart to Petra for overnight at hotel.

Day 8

Full day Petra visit

Today you will explore the rose red city of Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Upon arrival you will begin the trip on horseback to the canyon, the so called Siq, and then by foot to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Among other monuments you will see are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. Petra was also chosen to be one of the New 7 Wonders of the world.

Day 9

Petra – Wadi Rum 4×4 tour

Today we will drive towards the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the World. The area was made famous in the west by Lawrence of Arabia who described it as “vast, echoing and god-like”. Discover the area featured by rugged mountains and colored sand dunes during a 4×4 Jeep tour, enjoy canyons, sand dunes and rock inscriptions. After the excursion we will head to our camp for dinner & overnight.

Day 10

Day 10 Wadi Rum free – Dead Sea

Today you will be transferred to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea where you will have free time where you may enjoy floating, sun bath and mud wrapping of the Dead Sea and make your body benefit from the medical feature of the Dead Sea minerals. Overnight at the resort on the shores of the Dead Sea.

Day 11

Dead Sea – Amman Airport

Free morning to relax at the Dead Sea. At the appointed time, you will head towards Amman Airport for your departure flight.
